New Year, New Start: Day 2

clip_image002(Reminder: 5 minutes or less, you can do this!)

One of your holiday decorations is looking a little tired. Its “ho ho ho” has “go go gone.” Don’t store it for another year and decide to toss it next December. Do it now. If it doesn’t make you smile with joy, it hasn’t earned its spot.

Oh, Renee, I am loving these! Woo hoo....I am trying to decide what to toss out....oh yes, I forgot, I already tossed aside an old and sad looking small Christmas tree. Woo hoo! Freedom...

Beverly, you have obviously learned the secret of keeping only what is truly important. I'm trying to ask myself (before I buy!) "Now just where will I actually put this?".
Lorri - I'm throwing out a bunch of package decorations and gift bags that have been reused to death!

Hugs,
Renee

I have a little pile sitting here that is going to my Spring garage sale. GREAT advice!

Even though we moved last year I still had a Christmas pile of throw-aways!! I love to throw things away...and since I am late here...I am on my way to the sock drawer. That one is just too easy :)

When we dismantled all the CHRISTMAS decorations/tree I stood at the trash compactor & dropped in every glass ornament that was tarnished. It sounded like popcorn popping when I turned it on! I know, there probably was some "earth-friendly" way I SHOULD have used to dispose of these. But I have to say that it made me giggle listening to it & realizing that I was actually pitching something!

Thanks for this little push, Renée! I had a door wreath that has seen much better days and had decided to throw it away, but hadn't yet. It's in the trash now!
